DJ Peter Propaganda has established himself in the Chicago scene
with his band JILT, and the monthly BondageNightChicago.com "Naughty"
Parties that he throws with the infamous Mistress Xena (going on 3
years strong!) He also runs Corrosive MusicK Media, is part of The Secret Society of Djs and of Gothic Art Chicago Not For Profit Corporation.
Growing up surrounded by Chicago House and
techno, as well as Wax Trax, Peter brings an original style to his
Industrial sets. He is known for his lengthy blends, live remixing,
performance art and mixer techniques.
He has djed &
organized events at: Excalibur, The Mission, Victor Hotel, Lucky Number, Villains, Spot 6, Darkroom, Vision,
Kinetic Playground, Elbo Room, Odium, Porsche's Lair, Echo Gallery, The
Rave, Sylvie's, Club ?, the Dark Gatherings, the Nineteen Hundred and
One Gallery, Lava Lounge, SmartBar, Abbey Pub, The Spot, Continuum and other venues.
Peter's goal is to
make the events where he performs unique and memorable. By taking
tracks that you may (or may not) know, he reintroduces them in a new
light. Transcending the position of track selector and taking his
performance to infinite depths, DJ Peter Propaganda spins the
soundtrack to your dreams and your most depraved nightmares...
