Peter Propaganda has been in the Chicago music scene in various bands since 1990. He is a member of the "not for profit" organization Gothic Art Chicago, The Secret Society of Djs, Corrosive MusicK Media, Bondage Night Chicago, and the band JILT. He is the "Assistant Editor in Chief" of KILTER Magazine.

After founding JILT, Peter quickly took to Djing and never looked back. He describes music as "...a beast that devours my life."

Growing up surrounded by Chicago House and techno, as well as Wax Trax, Peter brings an original style to his Industrial sets. He is known for his blends, live remixing, performance art and mixer techniques.

He has djed & organized events at: Excalibur, The Mission, Victor Hotel, Lucky Number, Villains, Spot 6, Darkroom, Vision, Kinetic Playground, Elbo Room, Odium, Lucky Number, Dome Room, Echo Gallery, The Rave, Club ?, the Dark Gatherings, the Nineteen Hundred and One Gallery, Lava Lounge, SmartBar, Abbey Pub, The Spot, Continuum and other venues.

Peter's goal is to make the events where he performs unique and memorable. By taking tracks that you may (or may not) know, he reintroduces them in a new light. Transcending the position of track selector and taking his performance to infinite depths, DJ Peter Propaganda spins the soundtrack to your dreams and your most depraved nightmares...
